A/P Representative

Job Description:

Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm - Nacogdoches, TX

Elliott Electric Supply, one of the Top 10 Electrical Distributors in the U.S., is growing—and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join our team.

If you enjoy solving problems, keeping things organized, and being part of a supportive department, this role is for you.

As part of our Accounts Payable department, you’ll serve as the bridge between our branches, vendors, and financial team. Responsibilities include:

  • Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders

  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies with vendors and branch locations

  • Responding to vendor and store inquiries via phone and email

  • Assisting with account analysis and month-end closing

  •  

Qualifications:

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who’s organized, driven, and ready to dig in.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel (required)

  • Basic clerical/accounting skills

  • Previous AP experience (a plus)

  • Solid 10-key and phone skills a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on issues
