Responsibilities

Credit Admins assist the Credit Dept with calls and customer service questions, as well as share the responsibility of assisting the department in the new account process, special projects, and other work as required.

A New Accounts Credit Admin Assistant works within our the Credit Department team to help process new customer applications and references as needed.

Credit Collections Assistants help our credit department process small claim suits against customers who make an NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) payment or commit credit card fraud.

Inventory Control Assistant


An Inventory Control Assistant helps to track incoming and outgoing inventory, process orders, and communicate with vendors.

Inventory Control Assistant

Responsibilities

Use Backorder and Action Reports to review and place orders for select vendors within a particular product group

Verify that all orders have been received by the vendor/vendor rep

Ensure that orders ship in a timely manner and/or find solutions for any material that has unreasonable ship dates

Investigate cost discrepancies between our purchase order and vendor invoice as well as end-user invoice cost issues

Perform special buys, such as promotions, merchandisers, etc.

Special projects outside of the day-to-day purchasing may be assigned to the buyer by the Category manager or Product manager

Research rebate claim rejections and work to ensure they do not happen in the future

Work with vendors to keep rebate accounts within company policy

Position

Loss Prevention Specialist


The main role of a Loss Prevention Specialist is preventing financial loss caused by theft and internal fraud and assisting in the prosecution of those responsible. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and internal fraud, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the stores overall performance, assure cycle counts are completed on time in accordance with policy and procedure and driving a shrink elimination culture. A Criminal Justice degree or experience in the field is preferred.

Human Resources


Our Human Resources team manages all aspects of employee and administrative relations within our company. They work diligently to ensure our administration runs smoothly and employees are taken care of, as well as have access to the tools and information they need to succeed at Elliott Electric Supply. Human Resources also includes our Training team, which is responsible for holding training sessions for various positions in the branch stores, primarily store managers, operations managers, inside sales personnel, outside sales personnel, inventory control, and cycle counters. Other Store Services departments assist them in this task.
